RESERVATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKINGS: A deposit of £40.00 per person is required within 14 days of booking. Bookings of less than 14 days require an immediate deposit. The deposit is non refundable and will be credited against your room account.

 CANCELLATION POLICY: More than 14 days notice – loss of deposit only. 7 – 13 days notice – loss of deposit and 50% of the total invoice. Less than 7 days notice – loss of deposit and 100% of the total invoice. In the case of exceptional circumstances, the management of Bowood Park have the right to amend the above policies.

 CHECK ING IN: Your room will be available from 14:30 on the day of arrival. Should you wish to enter your room earlier, please contact a member of the reservations team 24 hours in advance.

 CHECKING OUT: Please vacate your room by 10:30 on the day of departure. Please note that our house keepers only have a small window of time in which to enter your room, have it cleaned and ready for new guests.

 BREAKFAST: Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 07:30 & 10:00 every morning.

 DINNER: Dinner is served in the restaurant between 19:00 & 21:00 every evening. Please make all dinner reservations at Reception or the Bar.

 GOLF RESERVATIONS: Golf reservations cannot be made until the deposits have been settled. You may however check availability with the golf shop upon enquiring. Pre booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

 SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the clubhouse building, in any bedrooms and on any balconies. We have designated smoking areas around the building to accommodate smokers. A minimum charge of £100 will be added to your room account should we find any traces of smoking in undesignated areas.

 GOLF CLUBS: Golf clubs are NOT permitted in bedrooms. Guests can either leave their clubs in their cars or in the designated store room at the hotel. (Please ask at reception). Batteries for electric golf trolleys are permitted to be charged in hotel rooms.

 DAMAGES/REMOVAL OF ROOM TOWELS: A charge will be made for any damages/removal of room towels during any hotel stay. The charge will vary depending on the severity of the damage and will be decided by the management of Bowood Park.

 CAR PARK: Guests cars are left at the owners own risk. Bowood Park cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to visitor’s property.

 DRESS CODE: Smart casual clothing is required both on the golf course and in the restaurant. Smart, dark jeans are acceptable in the restaurant. (NOT DENIM)

 BAR/ROOM ACCOUNTS: It is the guest’s responsibility to check for all food and beverages being charged to the room before retiring to bed. Once the bar tabs have been sent through to reception, mistakes cannot be rectified.

 The management of Bowood Park reserve the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time.
